Roll to Record have supplied all Outside Broadcast facilities for this years “ITV3 Specsavers Crime and Thriller Awards 2009”. The event is produced by Cactus Television and was held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

Hosted by Alan Davies, the main winners of the night included American series “The Wire”, actress Juliet Stevenson and special recognition awards were given to Colin Dexter, Lynda la Plante and Ian Rankin.

Roll to Record are delighted to be assisting ITV on the next series of “The Krypton Factor”. We have installed gallery facilities so the cameras in place on the assault course can be fed back to a central operations area.

Peter Andre – Now and Then

Roll to Record were proud to sponsor a reality session at this year’s Media Guardian Edinburgh Television Festival 2009.

The Session entitled “Peter Andre – Now and Then” attracted a huge audience and was standing room only for those whom did not arrive on time.

The session concentrated on what it is like to be a subject on reality television and the importance of building a bond with the production team that surround you on a daily basis.

Roll to Record & Visions at Wimbledon

Roll to Record supported sister company Visions this year at Wimbledon.
We supplied HD Robotic Cameras for their client ESPN as additional camera feeds to the host broadcaster for picking up players family’s, coaches and Royal box. It is also used for general crowd reaction shots and wides for graphics overlays.

Hothead cameras in Ramsey’s kitchen

Roll to Record’s hothead cameras have been standing the heat and staying firmly in the kitchen as they capture food shots on the latest series of Cookalong Live.

Each week Gordon Ramsay is joined by various celebrities and members of the public via their home webcam, to create an ideal three course meal for a Friday Evening, all within an hour.

The series is co-produced by Gordon Ramsay’s production company One Potato, Two Potato and Optomen Television.

Cookalong Live is aired on Channel 4, Fridays at 9pm.

Celebrity Scissorhands – Series 3

Roll to Record will be preening themselves once again as they provide all facilities for the new BBC3 Series of “Celebrity Scissorhands”.

Starting on 26^th October, in aid of the BBC’s annual “Children In Need” fundraising event, various celebrities will train in the Scissorhands salon overseen by Salon Manager Lee Stafford and the new image consultant for the academy in the guise of Steve Strange.

Roll to Record will capture every cut and blow dry, waxing and more through twenty of their specialist hothead and fixed cameras to ensure that every disastrous style is captured in all its glory.

Richard and Judy press release

Some marriages are made to last – Richard & Judy producers Cactus, and facilities provider Roll to Record are to continue with their established relationship.

Roll to Record – with a long history of providing broadcast equipment solutions – will supply and maintain the MCR, Gallery, Cameras and Sound equipment, along with booking all the technical crew for the Kennington-based Production Company until the end of 2009.

Richard and Judy’s new show will be aired on UKTV’s new multichannel service – Watch. The show is rumoured to have more live entertainment and be a little more unplugged.
